Like I promised on my facebook page, here is my crumble recipe !
Very easy, I just used old fruits I had in my fridge; a mixed of rhubarb and cranberries.
First I placed my fruits in the dish, I cut the rhubarb in pieces and just threw the cranberries as they were.
- 1/2 cup of maple syrup to it and
- 1 teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with some water.
Second, in a medium size bowl I mixed about
- 1/3 of a cup of diced cold butter with
- 1/2 of a cup of flour,
- 1/3 of brown sugar,
- 3/4 of oat flakes and
- some cinnamon.
Using a fork I tried to brake down the butter in smaller pieces but without to much fuss.
I bake it for a good 30-40 min at 350 F.
My favorite part is certainly the crumble and topped with ice cream it is unbelievably good!
